Last Time Around

Well, I'm not promising, but this might be my last time around with this physical stuff.

I'm beside Lake Huron in Michigan, filming a 20's gangster picture, and I do a lot of shooting and killing and fighting and falling down. These are all things I've been doing for what amounts to a very long time now, and I'd like to think I'm still pretty good at it.

But, as I discovered during last night's filming, once I fell down, it was no longer very easy for me to get back up again.

In fact, I couldn't. Not without help, anyway. And that was embarrassing.

Call it pride. Call it vanity, Call it anything you please. But if you have a fight scene to film that in involves an old guy in a new suit falling down and jumping back up again, don't call me.
